Director of Junior Development
Dory Levinter has been playing and teaching tennis locally since she was a teenager. Dory was a top 10 ranked junior and played #1 doubles and #2 singles at the University of Connecticut (NCAA Division 1 Big East) where she earned her degree in Psychology with a minor in human development. Dory began the first PAL tennis program on Long Island at the age of 15. Her passion for tennis has earned her “The Love of Tennis Community Development Award” which was presented by Arthur Ashe. She has trained both adult and juniors, ran various adult leagues. Dory oversees many programs such as junior development, high school training, zones, learn and plays and specialty clinics. She is USPTA Female Pro of the Year and the USTA Pro of the Year. She is USPTA certified as a P1 Elite pro with over 15 years of recognized service and holds numerous specialty certifications, such as 10 and under, elite cardio and more.
Casey started playing tennis at the age of 6. As a junior he developed his game through playing junior tournaments and challenging himself with USTA adult level competition. He has combined his love of the game and his interest in travel by competing across the country in events on all surfaces. He has won tournaments in New Jersey, Missouri, Florida, and New York and competed in other states as well.
He is an avid USTA team league player and captain. He has won numerous Sectional titles with his teams and has gone on to compete at Nationals multiple times. Casey is an USPTA certified professional and certified 10 and Under instructor. He has been teaching for 5 years and works with both juniors and adults. He specializes in applying physical mechanics and body motion principles to the lesson and uses cardio drills to improve court sense and shot selection.
Evan has been playing tennis since the age of 3 and playing competitively since the age of 8. Evan has developed a deep passion and respect for the sport. He’s been ranked in the top 5 in the Easterns and has a National ranking. Evan is certified by PTR in 10 and under, 11-17 and adult development. He also holds a USPTA professional coach certification. His teaching techniques focus highly on proper footwork, stroke development and strategy.
